Resin-bound driveways · Yorkshire · Est. 2012
Driveways built to last, from the ground up.
Permeable, hard-wearing resin-bound surfaces — laid over a properly engineered base by an experienced groundworks team. The bit underneath gets the same care as the finish on top. Free site survey and a fully itemised quote.
Why NWS Resin
The base is everything.
Most resin driveways that fail — cracking, sinking, puddling — fail underneath, not on top. We come from a groundworks and surfacing background, so the sub-base is engineered properly before a single batch of resin is mixed.
Proper groundwork
Correct excavation, sub-base and compaction — the foundation that decides whether a drive lasts two winters or twenty years.
Our own team
The people who quote your job are the people who lay it. No handing it off to a subbie you never met.
Itemised quotes
Materials, groundwork, edging and labour broken out clearly — so you can compare like for like.
Quality materials
UV-stable resin and kiln-dried aggregate, laid to the right depth. The cheap stuff yellows and goes brittle — ours doesn't.
Permeable by design
Water drains straight through, meeting SUDS rules — which usually means no planning permission for a front driveway.
Established in 2012
Neil Wake Services Ltd has been trading since 2012 — we're the surfacing arm of NWS Play, an established playground & surfacing contractor. A proven operation with well over a decade behind it, not a brand-new name.

Reviews
Building our reputation, the right way
NWS Resin is a new name — but not a new outfit. We're the surfacing arm of NWS Play, and the business behind us, Neil Wake Services Ltd, has been trading since 2012. So while the resin name is new, there's well over a decade of groundwork and surfacing experience behind every job. As we build up our resin driveway reviews, we'd be glad for you to be one of our first customers — and we'll treat your job like our reputation depends on it, because it does.
Genuine customer reviews will appear here as our resin jobs complete.
More from NWS Resin
Not just driveways
We can finish the whole outdoor space — and handle larger commercial and play projects too.
Good to know
Frequently asked questions
For a front driveway, usually not. Resin-bound is permeable and SUDS-compliant, so water drains through it — which normally means it falls under permitted development. We'll flag anything unusual at the survey.
A typical job is 2–5 days depending on size and how much groundwork is needed. A full dig-out with a new base takes longer than an overlay on a sound surface.
If your concrete or tarmac is sound, draining well and not cracking up, yes — an overlay saves time and money. If the base has failed, we'd recommend a full dig-out.
A properly installed resin-bound surface lasts around 15–25 years with very little maintenance.
